On Tuesday, 6 October 2026, we officially opened a new asphalt pump track at Komenda Sports Park, designed and built by Planapark. The opening attracted numerous visitors, especially children, young people and cycling enthusiasts, who eagerly tried out the new sports facility on its opening day.
A New Space for Sports and Recreation
The pump track is designed for users of different ages and skill levels. Its dynamic asphalt layout accommodates bicycles, scooters, skateboards and inline skates, encouraging the development of balance, coordination and other motor skills.
The new facility enhances Komenda Sports Park and provides the local community with an additional space for recreation, physical activity and social interaction across generations.
Ground Markings for Safer Use
A distinctive feature of the Komenda pump track is its ground markings, which help users navigate the facility and use it more safely.
In addition to markings indicating the riding direction, the waiting area features directional markings designed to guide users, particularly younger children, away from the riding line. These markings help riders enter the track more safely and reduce the risk of collisions.
Thank You for Your Trust
At Planapark, we would like to thank the Municipality of Komenda for its trust and for the friendly and professional cooperation throughout the project.
We are delighted that the new pump track attracted so many visitors on its opening day. We believe it will remain a popular place for sports, recreation and community gatherings in Komenda for many years to come.
